Rezime
U radu se ukazuje na
razlike u socijalofilozofskim pogledima Avrelija Avgustina, znamenitog
Oca crkve i Pseudo-Dionizija Areopa-gi-te, još uvek neidentifikovane ličnosti
grčkog teologa, koji se potpisivao imenom prvog atinskog episkopa. Obojici
ovih teologa Platon je bio filozofski uzor. Prvi je živeo u Zapadnorimskom
carstvu, koje je propadalo uz sukobe i ratna razaranja, pa je na svet gledao
kao na vremenit, istoričan i bremenit sukobima. Drugi, živeći u ranovizantijsko
doba, ističe hijerarhijsko uređenje sveta, stabilnost, poredak i stremljenje
van-vremenskoj večnosti.

IDEAS OF AUGUSTINE AND PSEUDO-DIONYSIUS
Summary
The paper points to
the differences in social-philosophical views of Aurelius Augustine, famous
Latin church father and Pseudo-Dionysius Areopagite, a yet unidentified
Greek theologian who signed himself using the name of the first Athenian
bishop. Both theologians saw Plato as their philosophical ideal. The first
lived in the West Roman Empire which was deteriorating due to the clashes
and war destructions; hence, he saw the world as old, overhistorical and
burdened with conflicts. The other, living in the early Byzantine period,
places the emphasis on the hierarchic pattern of the world, stability,
order and aspiration towards timeless eternity.
