RELIGIJSKA TOLERANCIJA
MLADIH U SRBIJI KRAJEM DEVEDESETIH
Rezime
U radu su izneseni rezultati
pilot istraživanja religijske tolerancije mladih u Srbiji. Uzorak su činili
246 učenika završnog razreda gimnazije i srednje stručne škole u dva grada
u pretežno jednokonfensionalnnim sredinama (Valjevo i Jagodina) i u tri
grada sa multireligijskom strukturom stanovništva (Novi Sad, Zrenjanin
i Subotica).
društvene krize i ratnih sukoba u okruženju.
Ključne reči: mladi,

RELIGIOUS
TOLERANCE OF THE YOUNG IN SERBIA TOWARDS THE END OF THE NINETIES
Summary
The paper presents the
results of a pilot research focused on the religious tolerance of the young
people in Serbia. The sample consisted of 246 high school and secondary
vocational school seniors in two towns in predominantly homogenous religious
settings (Valjevo and Jagodina) as well as in three towns with multi-religious
population (Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Subotica). It has been presumed that
tolerance implies forbearance for the opinions, convictions and behaviors
which are not personally shared or practiced. Following this line of thought,
religious tolerance would mean acceptance of religious convictions and
religious practices which differ from our own, but still constitute a part
of our social community. The basic conclusion is that a certain degree
of intolerance has been noticed which is seen as a consequence of a continued
intensification of the social crisis and war clashes in the environment.
